The Northern Zambia Union Conference Women’s Ministries department held a mother and daughter mentoring seminar at Kamanya Church, Kitwe. The event which was attended by over a hundred women with their daughters ran under the theme; “Iron sharpens iron” based on Proverbs 27:17 which states, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
Mrs. Rita Twumasi expressed her appreciation for the initiative taken by Kamanya Church. Speaking about the event, she said, “We give glory and honor to God for the leadership of Kitwe North Mission District who saw it fit to have such a special seminar. We also thank God for the enthusiasm to learn exhibited by the participants and hope that the principles shared will create better bonds between mothers and daughters.” The ladies were grateful for the opportunity to spend meaningful time with their daughters while learning how to build better relationships.
